Nigeria SONCAP Certification

Nigeria ' s National Bureau of Standards of Nigeria ( SON ) is a Nigerian in charge of formulating and implementing national quality standards for the import and manufacture of government agencies . To ensure that the product has been granted for the purposes of the country conforms to standards or other international standards , to protect Nigerian consumers from unsafe products or sub - standard products of the damage , Nigeria ' s National Bureau of Standards decided to export to the country of regulated products pre - shipment mandatory conformity assessment procedures . SONCAP includes two stages . The new rules include standards comply with the assessment and to examine the goods , in addition to the exemptions specified in this list of products , which applies to all products imported into Nigeria . SONCAP business acceptance process A + B A . PC application 1 . The client needs to provide : application form ( provided by us , to be sealed ) + Third Party Inspection Agency to produce reports of detection + product photos ( nameplate ) has better + factory inspection report ( limited to PC2 and PC3 , provide quality certificate included free factory ) 2 . If no third party detection mechanism indicates a detecting report , factory inspection + report + Quality System Certificate , apply for detection . 3 of the certificate prior to the preferment of a bill and a confirmation of the memo . B . COC application 1 . The client needs to provide : application form ( provided by us , must be sealed box single invoice + ) ( M + ) must be affixed with the Seal of the FORM ( PC + PC ) shall return the certificate 2 . determining whether the delivery certificate and to 3 - 4 working days in advance reservation test ( a non - Ningbo , certain travel expenses , please note ) 3 .
